HAWLEY, Bert WWII Bert was born in Cloyne, Ontario. He came to the Arborfield area in 1910 with his family to homestead. He married Marriel Alice Edward in 1926 and later purchased a homestead where they raised 10 children. He enlisted with the Army on February 6, 1942. He served with the R.C.E. in Canada until his discharge on October 7, 1942. Bert is deceased. HAWLEY, Beryl WWII Beryl enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force on September 28, 1942. She served in Canada doing General Duties until her discharge on November 18, 1943. HAWLEY, Walter WWII Walter enlisted with the Royal Canadian Army on January 14, 1942. He served as a Guard in Canada until his discharge in 1946. HAWRELUIK, Nick WWII Nick was born in Sheho, SK. He enlisted in the Canadian Army in January of 1943. After taking his basic training he served on Vancouver Island and the mainland. He was discharged in October of 1943 with the rank of rifleman. HAY, Victor W. WWII Victor was born on May 26, 1925 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He signed up for the Army at the age of fifteen. He served with the Saskatoon Light Infantry in Belgium, Sicily, France, Canada, England, Italy, and South Africa. Victor currently resides in Christopher Lake.
