HAMILTON, David James WWII David was born in 1923 in Indian Head, SK. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1942 with Squadron 405. He trained in Saskatchewan and Manitoba on various aircraft and eventually settled into multi engines. He went overseas in 1944 and flew multi engine bombers. He returned to Indian Head in 1946, and after a couple years he returned to his flying career, re-enlisting in the RCAF until 1955. David currently resides in Metro Vancouver. HAMILTON, Delbert Earl WWII Delbert was born in 1915 in Shellbrook, SK. He enlisted with the Army in March of 194 and took his basic training in Regina.. He served with the R.H.L.I. in Continental Europe. He was wounded in Germany on March 3rd, 1945 He did Radio Recon behind enemy lines at times sending information and locations of enemy forces. He received his discharge in January of 1946. HANSON, Edward Roy WWII Edward enlisted with the 21st Field Battery R.C.A. on September 19, 1939. He served in England, Canada, and Continental Europe until his discharge with the rank of Gunner on October 23, 1945. After the war he spent some time in Juneau, Alaska. He married Helen in 1950 and moved to Ontario in 1953. He was a member of the Sulton Ontario West Branch Legion. Ed passed away on August 19, 1989. HANSON, Adolph Matthew WWII Adolph was born on January 27, 1927 in Lintlaw, SK. He moved to Sheho in 1938 where he finished school. He joined the Army in February of 1945 in Regina, SK. He took his basic training at Maple Creek and his advanced training at Camp Shilo, MB. He served for 1 year in Infantry and was discharged as Private in December of 1945. He married Rose Phyllis in May of 1964 and they moved out west in 1967. Adolph currently resides in Maple Creek. HANSON, Jack WWII Jack enlisted with the Army in 1939. He served for eight years in France, Germany, Italy, England, the Netherlands and Belgium until his discharge as a Private in 1947. He received the 1939-45 Star, the Italy Star, the France and Germany Star, the War Medal 1939-45 and the Canadian Volunteer Medal. He married Lorena on May 10, 1947 and they raised 2 children. He was a member of the Victory Branch Legion in London, ON. Jack passed away in March of 1983. The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 125
