HALL, Percy WWI Percy was born in 1898 in England. He came to Earl Grey, SK with his parents in 1903. He enlisted with the Army when the war broke out and served overseas where he was wounded. He returned to Earl Grey and was married on November 12, 1918. They farmed in Earl Grey until 1931 when they moved to a homestead north of Connell Creek and raised 4 children. Percy passed away in March of 1968. No Photo HALLETT, Albert WWI Albert and his brother came to the Jordan River area in 1911 to file for homesteads. He enlisted with the Canadian Army at the start of the war and served overseas until his discharge. He married Edith after the war and they farmed until 1951. They moved their family of 4 children to Sundridge, ON, where they had a dairy farm. They retired to Magnetwan, ON. No Photo HAMILL, Bryson Thomas WWII Bryson was born in 1922 in Whitewood, SK. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1941 graduating as pilot. In 1942, he was posted overseas serving two and half years with the Air Force until 1949. Upon his return to Canada, he was employed by London Life Insurance Co, spending 41 years with the firm. Bryson is now retired and living with his wife Ina in Calgary, Alberta. HAMILL, Richard Henry WWII Richard was born in 1916 in Whitewood, SK. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in Canada until his discharge. After serving in the Air Force Richard joined the London Life Insurance Co. at London, Ontario. He retired as Director of Claims. He and his wife Marnie had two children. Richard passed away on June 29, 1990. HAMILL, Ross Curtis WWII Ross was born on January 21, 1923 in Whitewood, SK. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1942 and after graduating as an air observer he went overseas He served with the Bomber Command in England and Europe. Ross was killed in action with all his crew but two while flying over Germany. Heʼs buried in the British Military Cemetery in Neederwent in Holland.
