GRAY, Thomas WWII Thomas was born on December 28, 1923 in Keyes, MB. He came to the Arborfield area with his family in 1932. He enlisted with the Army on September 27, 1941. He served with the R.C.E. in Canada until his discharge on April 18, 1942. After the war he married and moved to Prince George. GRAYDON, Francis K. WWII Francis was born on April 19, 1922. He joined the Navy in July of 1942 and served on the Atlantic until his discharge in September of 1945. Francis has been a member of the Shellbrook Legion Branch for 42 years. GRAYSTON, Robert Beverley WWI Robert was born on February 5, 1897 in Penarth, Wales. He enlisted with the 1st Depot Battalion, Saskatchewan Regiment and served in England and France. He was wounded and sent to England to recover and was to be sent back when the war ended. He was an active member of the Shellbrook Legion #111 until his passing in 1976. GREEN, Arthur WWI Arthur was born on October 17, 1896 in Briercliffe, England. He enlisted with the 214th Overseas Battalion in March of 1916 along with his father Moses Green, brother-in-law E.P. (Ted) Biggs and cousin Harold Farrar, and trained at Sewell, Lelie and Camp Hughes. He was a member of the signaling section. Arthur was killed in action in France and is buried in Morac British Cemetary, Grenay, France, plot 3 row H grave 7. GREEN, Brian Arthur Special Duty Brian was born on September 18, 1935 in Edmore, SK. He enlisted with the Army on March 24, 1958. He served with the Royal Canadian Dental Corps in Canada.After completing his training; he was posted to the C Pro C Det, Griesbach Barracks, Edmonton, Alberta. In 1970 he was posted to 14 Dental coy CFB, Winnipeg, Manitoba as the nco/ic, responsible for the installation and repair of dental equipment in Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Armstrong, Ontario. Brian retired from the regular force in June of 1978 to return to the family farm and became involved with the Foam Lake Air cadets receiving a commission. He was CO until 1984.
