FRANKLIN, Peter John WWII Peter was born on July 4, 1921 in Romanufk, Poland. He joined the Air Force in 1942. Peter was stationed at #8 Bombing Gunnery School. He also was in Lethbridge, Clareholm, Penhold, Red Deer, Calgary, Fort McLeod and at Debert, N.S. He was also stationed in Northern Scotland with the 404 Squadron River Spea and at London Head Quarters with the Army and Air Force Dental Corp. He served in Canada, England, and Scotland until his discharge in 1945. FRAZIER, Donald WWII Donald was born in 1925 in Tugaske, SK. His family moved to the Arborfield in 1931. He enlisted with the Army Sherbrooke Fusilier Regiment as a Gunner on January 7, 1943. He served in Canada, France, Holland and Germany until his discharge on February 21, 1946. After the war he got married. Donald is deceased. FREE, Gordon WWII Gordon was born in August of 1924 in Saskatoon, SK. He came to Arborfield in 1933 with his mother and sister. He enlisted with the Army, Canadian Corps Signals on March 10, 1942. He was transferred to the South Saskatchewan Regiment and served in Canada, England, France, and Belgium until his discharge in 1945. After the war he was married and worked in hardware at a garage. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Arborfield Branch #203. Gordon passed away in April of 1984. FRISKE, Arthur WWII Arthur was born on February 9, 1924 in Watrous. He moved to Arborfield in 1937. He enlisted with the South Saskatchewan Regiment on November 7, 1941. He served as a Sniper in Canada, England, France, Belgium, Holland where he was wounded, and Germany until his discharge on October 20, 1945. After the war he married and moved to Prince George, BC. Arthur passed away in July of 1988. FRISKE, Henry WWII Henry was born on February 9, 1919 in Saskatoon, SK. He moved to Arborfield in 1937. He enlisted with the Army on June 22, 1940. He served with the S.L.I. as a Tank Driver in Canada, England, Sicily, Italy, France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany until his discharge on October 5, 1945.
