FOWLIE, James WWII James was born on September 22, 1922. He enlisted with the Army on October 27, 1942. He served with the 18th Armed Car Regiment as a Section Leader in Canada, England, France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany until his discharge on October 24, 1945. He was also a Pacific Volunteer. He received the following medals: Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, Defense Medal, King George, France and Germany Star. After the war he married and farmed and worked in the bush until he moved to BC. James is deceased. FRANCIS, Colonel David WWII David was born in 1921 in Whitewood, SK. He enlisted with the R.C.H.A. and served in England, Vietnam, and in Canada. He was a member of the Kingston Ontario Branch of The Royal Canadian Legion. He was awarded the Bronze Cross (The Netherlands). David passed away in 1994 in Florida. No Photo FRANCIS, Darryl Charles Korean War Darryl was born on October 11, 1933 in Whitewood, SK. He served the Royal Canadian Navy from January 1952-57 in Korea aboard the H.M.C.S. Crusader, H.M.C.S. Ontario and the H.M.C.S. Naden. Darryl is a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #87 in Whitewood. FRANCIS, Donald John WWII Donald was born in 1926 in Whitewood, SK. He enlisted with the R.C.A.F. in 1943 in Regina, SK. He served in Canada, Bahamas and England before his discharge in 1945. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #87 for 42 years. Donald passed away in 1986. FRANCIS, Terry John Peacetime Terry was born on July 17, 1947 in Whitewood, SK. He enlisted with the R.C.R. in 1967 and served in Canada until his discharge in June of 1971.
