7 TEENAGERS DRUG ABUSE AWARENESS On behalf of the City of Charlottetown, I wish to congratulate the PEI Police Association on their 34th Annual Crime Prevention Guide. This year’s theme is “Teenagers Drug Abuse Prevention”, a topic that unfortunately impacts too many of our youth within our communities. The information made available through the publication of this guide contributes to a broader sense of community safety, health, and well-being of our youth. It is my sincere hope that the information provided in this guide will be used to broaden the discussions and increase awareness within our youth population around the consequences of consuming street drugs that ultimately may contain life threatening substances.
