SMITH (NICHOLSON), Maud Mabel Maud was born in Alberton District, the daughter of William and Edith May (Jones) Nicholson. She enlisted in the Canadian Women’s Army Corps and served as a Sergeant in Canada. SMITH, Edward Charles WWII Edward was born in Bloomfield District, the son of John and Lila Mae (Costain) Smith. He enlisted in the Army on November 28, 1941 and was discharged on January 25, 1946. He served as a Private in the Royal Canadian Engineers and #6 District Depot Overseas.
