He enlisted in the Army and served as a Captain in the Home Guard. HODGIN, Harold Edward Nelson Jr. RCMP Harold was born in Saint John, New Brunswick on March 16, 1952. He joined the RCMP in Fredericton, NB on July 3, 1974 and was transferred to Regina, SK for six months of training. In January 1974, he was transferred to Alberton, PEI for another six months of field training and in the fall of 1975, he was posted to Charlottetown Detachment to General Duties. In 1976, Harold was transferred to the Inland Water Migratory Bird section for two years and from there, in 1978, went to the RCMP Drug section until 1980, posted to Charlottetown Highway Patrol. In 1983, Harold transferred back to Charlottetown Detachment as a general duties investigator until June 1985 when he returned to Alberton Detachment in general duties. He retired in August 2003 with thirty years and one month of service as a Constable. HENDERSON, Robert Alton “Bob” WWII Robert was born in Alberton District, son of John Thomas and Jane Paige (Yeo) Henderson. He enlisted in the Army on August 27, 1942 and was discharged on June 29, 1946. He served as a Private in Home Defence.
