GALLANT, Joseph Mills WWII Joseph was born in Bloomfield District, grandson of Amedie and Jane (Arsenault) Gallant. He enlisted in the Army on October 16, 1940 and was discharged on September 1, 1945. He served as a Private in the Veterans Guard in Canada. GALLANT, Joseph Lawrence “Joey” WWII Joseph was born in Bloomfield District, son of James T. and Elizabeth (Gaudet) Gallant. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force on November 7, 1941 and was discharged on July 28, 1944. He served as a Leading Aircraftsman in the Guard “C” in Canada.
