He served as a Corporal in the 5th Division in Canada, England, Holland and Belgium. GALLANT, John Joseph WWII John was born in Bloomfield District, son of Prosper and Priscilla Gallant. He enlisted in the Army on January 26, 1943 and was discharged on August 10, 1945. He served as a Gunner in the #6 District Depot C.A. in Canada.
