CURRIE, William Bruce WWII William was born in Alberton District, son of William Bruce and Elizabeth (Gray) Currie. He enlisted in the Army on March 7, 1940 and was discharged on July 25, 1945. He served as a Lieutenant/Corporal in the Royal Canadian Engineers in Canada, the United Kingdom and Central Mediterranean.
