He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve on October 1, 1941 and was discharged on October 19, 1945. He served as a Stoker in Canada, High Seas, and the United Kingdom. BONYMAN, John “Russell” WWII John was born in Bloomfield District, son of George and Laura (Brundage) Bonyman. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force on June 27, 1941 and was discharged on September 6, 1945. He served as a Corporal in Canada and England.
