He served as a Gunner in the Royal Canadian Artillery in Canada. GALLANT, Joseph Stanislaus WWII Joseph was born in Bloomfield District, son of Stanley and Kathleen (Peters) Gallant. He enlisted in the Navy on May 15, 1941 and was discharged on October 5, 1945. He served as an Able Seaman.
