He enlisted in the Army in 1939 and joined the Royal Canadian Dragoons in September 1956 until his honourable discharge in January 1960. During his time with the Dragoons, he saw service in Western Germany from 1957 to 1959. Kevin received the Special Service Medal. FITZSIMMONS, Bernard T. WWI Bernard enlisted in the Army and was killed in action on April 29, 1918. He served as a Private in the B Company, 102nd Machine Gun Battalion and was a former member of the old Roxbury Horse Guards. FINNAN, Lawrence WWII Lawrence was born in Bloomfield District, son of Albert and Carolyn (Arsenault) Finnan. He enlisted in the Army on December 12, 1941 and was discharged on February 8, 1945. He served as a Private in the #11 District Depot in Canada and the UK.
