Military Service Recognition Book – Volume 15 / 7 The Royal Canadian Legion Prince Edward Island Command ARSENAULT, Albert Eugene WWII Albert was born in Palmer Road, PEI in 1916. He enlisted in the Army with the PEI Highlanders/Cape Breton Highlanders. He served during World War II in Canada, England and Italy. Albert was killed in action in 1944 in Italy. He is buried in Montecchio War Cemetery in Italy. Albert received the following medals: the 1939-1945 Star, the Italy Star, the Defence Medal, the War Medal and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. ARSENAULT, Dona Emanuel WWII Dona was born in the Bloomfield Area, the son of Philip and Zelie (Arsenault) Arsenault. He enlisted in the Army on June 23, 1941 and was discharged on June 20, 1946. He served as a Gunner in the UK, Central Mediterranean, and North West Europe. ARSENAULT, Albert Joseph WWII Albert was born in Carleton, the son of Vilda and Carrie (White) Arsenault. He enlisted in the Army on October 1, 1942 and was discharged on March 19, 1946. He served as a Sapper in the Royal Canadian Engineers in the UK, and Continental Europe.
