Lest We Forget / 67 The Royal Canadian Legion Prince Edward Island Command PEDERSEN, Brian Gary PEACETIME Brian was born on August 19, 1967 in Charlottetown, PEI. He served in the Navy onboard HMCS Fraser, HMCS Montreal and HMCS Provider on the High Seas, in the Persian Gulf and the South West during peacetime. He received the Canadian Forces Decoration, SSM-Nato and SSM - South West Asia (Afghanistan). PATON, John WWII John was born in Rollo Bay, the son of the late Andrew and Jan (Chaffey) Paton. He served in World War II. John passed away in Summerside on November 7, 2009 at age 89. PARKHOUSE, Owen John William SPECIAL DUTY AREA/PEACETIME Owen was born in Westmount, Quebec in 1964. He joined the Navy and served in former Yugoslavia, East Timor and Afghanistan. He received CDS Commendation. Owen has been a member of the Morell Legion Branch 26 for nine years.
