Lest We Forget / 41 The Royal Canadian Legion Prince Edward Island Command GALLANT, Lévis WWI Lévis, son of Charles (Laurent) Gallant and Sophie Poirier, enlisted in the Canadian Army on March 21, 1918. He served in Canada, Great Britain and France with the Royal Canadian Regiment. He was discharged on March 15, 1919. He enlisted in the Veterans Guard of Canada 6th Coy in 1941 with postings in Charlottetown, PE; Fredericton, NB.; St. Stephen, NB; and Valcartier, QC. He was discharged on November 2, 1944. GALLANT, Joseph WWI Joseph, son of Jean-Pierre and Eulalie Gallant, served in World War One in Canada from 1916 to 1919. He was attached to the 6th Canadian Garrison Regiment with the Canadian Expeditionary Force. GALLANT, Joseph P. WWI Joseph, son of Mr. and Mrs. Philias Gallant, enlisted in the American Army on March 27, 1918 at Providence, Rhode Island. He served with the American Expeditionary Force as a telegraph lineman (Supply Co. 302nd Infantry). He was discharged at Camp Upton, New York on August 29, 1919.
