Lest We Forget / 61 NORTON, Ernest Murray WWII Ernest was born on April 18, 1925 in Crapaud, Prince Edward Island. He joined the Army and served in the West Nova Scotia Regiment in Italy during World War II. Ernest died on May 20, 1944 in Cassino, Italy. PERRY, Sylvère WWI & WWII Sylvère, son of Philibert and Catherine Poirier, enlisted in World War I on March 22, 1916 and served in Canada, England and France in the 105th Battalion. Corporal Perry received his discharge on April 27, 1919. In World War II, he joined the Veterans Guard of Canada and served from February 1, 1941 to August 7, 1945. He received the British War Medal, the War Medal 1939-45, the 1939-1945 Star and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. PERCIVAL, Jack WWI Jack, son of John Percival and Mary Bradley, enlisted in Charlottetown in WWI. He served overseas in England and France with the 105th Battalion and was attached to the 2nd Siege Battery for three years.
