Lest We Forget / 45 MacDONALD, Givin Willard WWI & WWII Givin was born on September 1, 1896 in Nine Mile creek, Prince Edward Island and he served with the 105th Overseas Battalion out of Charlottetown. He returned from World War I and traveled west, joining up with the South Alberta Regiment C.A.S.F. Regiment for World War II. He had his family return to Nine Mile Creek for WWII. After the war, Givin moved the family to Ontario where he died in 1974 and had a Legion funeral. MacGREGOR, Charles WWII Charles, son of Joseph and Jean Bernard MacGregor of Darnley, enlisted in the American Armed Forces. MacKAY, George C. WWI George was born to Mr. and Mrs. Edward MacKay on December 6, 1898 in Darnley. He enlisted in Charlottetown in July 1915 and served overseas. George died as a result of wounds sustained on January 26, 1918 and he is buried in England. The Royal Canadian Legion Prince Edward Island Command
