He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1954 and served twenty-four years in Canada and Germany. He was the Provincial President of the Prince Edward Island Command of The Royal Canadian Legion from 2003-2005. Carman passed away on August 19, 2007. PINEAU, Joseph E. “Sylvère” WWII Joseph was born in the Bloomfield District to Frank Pineau and Mélina Arsenault. He served in the Royal Canadian Army 3rd Division North Shore Regiment of New Brunswick in Canada, England, Holland and Japan. He received the 193945 Star, the France and Germany Star, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, and the 1939-45 War Medal. The Royal Canadian Legion Prince Edward Island Command PINEAU, Louis WWII Louis, son of Henry Pineau and Sophia Perry, was born in the Bloomfield District and served overseas and Canada in the Royal Canadian Air Force from June 12, 1942 to September 1, 1945. He received the 1939-45 Star, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, and the 1939-45 War Medal.
