Lest We Forget / 55 MOORe, Reagh William WWII Reagh was born to Lewis Moore and Margaret Robbins on August 20, 1922. He enlisted as a Stoker Second Class in the Royal Canadian Navy on October 1, 1941 and served in Canada. For his war efforts, he received the War Medal 1939-45 and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. Upon his release from the Navy on February 2, 1942, Reagh moved to Ottawa and was employed with the city as a streetcar and bus driver for over 40 years. He is now retired and lives in Ottawa with his wife, Julia Millar. MckINNON, John Donald WWI John was born in 1880 as The Brae, PEI to Malcolm McKinnon and Eliza Macduff. He served in the 82nd Regular Militia and enlisted in the 105th Canadian Expeditionary Force in 1915. John died in 1966 and is buried in Victoria West People's Cemetery. MOORe, george lewis WWI George was born in Milburn, PEI to Lewis Moore and Margaret Robbins on July 4, 1913. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve in Halifax on July 26, 1943 and served as a Petty Officer in Canada. After his discharge on August 31, 1945, Lewis worked as a carpenter until 1969 when he was forced to retire due to illness. In 1982, he and his wife, Helen Pigott, moved to Crossroads. He died on April 12, 1986 and is buried in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. MORRIsseY, Francis everett WWII Francis was born in Tignish, Prince Edward Island on November 1, 1919. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served as a Leading Aircraftsman during World War II. Francis passed away on July 26, 1994.
