He served in Canada with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps and was in the Air Force with Heavy Equipment Operations for five years. Frank retired to PE in 2005. BYRNe, Michael WWII Private Byrne, son of Gus and Kate (O’Hanley) Byrne, was born on Prince Edward Island in 1906 and served with the PE Highlanders. Michael passed away on March 31, 1971. CaLLagHaN, Joseph earl WWII Corporal Callaghan was born in Alberton, PE. He enlisted in the Army on September 3, 1939 and served with the PEI Highlanders in Canada, the UK and in Continental Europe. Joseph was discharged on September 8, 1945. CaMPBeLL, archie WWII Archie was born in Springbrook, PE on March 8, 1920. He enlisted in 1939 and served with the Artillery and the Royal Canadian Air Force in Canada and overseas. Archie was discharged in 1945 and died on September 28, 1989. CaMPBeLL, Frederick Oswald WWII Private Campbell was born in Alberton, PE. He joined the Army, #6 District Depot, CA Medical Corps on November 14, 1940 and served in Canada, the UK and in Continental Europe. Frederick was discharged on March 19, 1946.
