He became ill, was hospitalized, and received his medical discharge on August 1, 1944. JONEs, Roy Joseph wwII Roy was born in Roseville, PEI and joined the #6 District Depot CA on April 21, 1945 and served in Canada until August 3, 1946. He received the 1939-1945 War Medal. laNNIgaN, gerald wwII Gerald was born in St. Mary’s Road, PEI in 1924. He enlisted with the R.C.N. on September 1, 1943 and was discharged on January 21, 1946. Gerald is deceased. lECKY, John J. wwII John, son of John D. and Florida Lecky of the Wellington area, enlisted in the Canadian Army in September 1942 and served in Debert and Labrador with #6 Camp Engineers. He was discharged in June 1946. lECKY, leonard wwII Leonard, son of John D. and Florida Lecky of the Wellington area, enlisted in the Canadian Army in January 1940 and served in the North Nova Scotia Highlanders having seen action in the Battle of Normandy and in Holland.
