He was stationed in MacLeod, Alberta and was also a Pay-Master in Halifax. Gilbert passed away on September 13, 1978. glOVER, Robert warren wwII Robert was born in Murray Harbour, PEI and enlisted with the R.C.A. Veterans Guard on March 6, 1942 and was discharged on March 15, 1946. Robert is deceased. HaNdRaHaN, James w. wwII James was born in Ascension, PEI on July 16, 1920 to Joseph and Alice (nee A’Hearn) Handrahan and served as a Gunner in World War Two. James passed away after a short battle with cancer on October 19, 2004. IRVINg, James Hirem wwII James was born in Brooklyn and joined the Army in April 1943 and served in North-Western Europe and Italy with the rank of Sergeant. He received the 1939-1945 War Medal, the Italy Star, the Defence Medal, and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal & Clasp. JONEs, alfred wwII Alfred was born in Bloomfield, PEI and joined the Army on June 28, 1941 with the artillery unit serving in Scotland and England until March 1945 with the rank of Corporal.
