Lest We Forget / 39 gaUdET, Elric wwII Elric was born in St. Nicholas, PEI on January 27, 1920. He joined the Army in 1941, serving in Canada, Belgium, Holland and France, and was discharged in 1947. Elric now resides at Parkside Senior Residence in Summerside, PEI. gaUdET, Clarence wwII Clarence was born in St. Nicholas, PEI on October 3, 1922 and joined the Army in 1943 and served in Canada. He was in Virginia, USA on course when the War ended against Japan. He was discharged in 1946. Clarence passed away on September 1, 1998. gaUdET, Edmond R. wwII Edmond was born at Leoville, near Tignish, PEI on April 23, 1921 and enlisted in the Canadian Army in December 1942 and was discharged in March 1946 after having served in Canada at Gander, NL and overseas in England, France, Holland and Belgium. Edmond passed away on April 16, 1978. gaUdET, Felix wwII Felix, son of Joseph and Mary Gaudet of Tignish, PEI enlisted on March 17, 1943 and served with the Cape Breton Highlanders. He was wounded and hospitalized twice. Felix was killed in action on August 30, 1944 in Italy and is buried in Montecchilo, Italy. gaUdET, Frank wwII Frank, son of Joseph and Mary Gaudet of Tignish, PEI, enlisted with the North Shore Regiment on December 7, 1943 and served in France, Holland and Belgium. He was discharged on March 26, 1946. Frank passed away on October 4, 1993. The Royal Canadian Legion Prince Edward Island Command
