Lest We Forget / 21 BEll, Robert Irving wwI Robert, son of Andrew and Eliza Jane (Metherrall) Bell, joined the Army on April 18, 1916 and served until May 18, 1919 with the 3rd Canadian Artillery, # 5 Siege Battery in Canada, the UK and France. He received the British War Medal and Victoria Medal. BEll, John alton KOREa John was born in Murray Harbour, PEI in 1931 and enlisted with the RCN (Korea) on June 30, 1948. BEll, Orrin wwI & wwII Orrin was born in Murray Harbour, PEI on October 13, 1892. He enlisted in the # 2 S.B. Canadian Expeditionary Force in Charlottetown, PEI on October 5, 1915, serving as a Gunner in 2 C.S.B. in France and Belgium until demobilization on May 18, 1919. He later enlisted with the PEI Highlanders in Charlottetown on July 15, 1940 and served as a Private in Canada and the North Atlantic until demobilization on September 30, 1945. Orrin passed away in 1965. BERNaRd, alyre Joseph wwII Alyre was born in Palmer Road, PEI on December 8, 1921, the son of Joseph P. and Lydia (nee Perry) Bernard. He joined the Army on February 11, 1943 and served overseas for one year in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe. He was discharged on February 19, 1946. BERNaRd, Victor wwII Victor was born in Piusville, PEI and joined the Army and served from 1941 to October 17, 1944 in Canada and received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and the 1939-45 War Medal.
