He enlisted in February 1943 with the Royal Canadian Navy serving aboard the HMCS Theresa in England, Ireland and Canada. He was discharged in 1945. Leonard and his wife reside in Summerside, PEI. aVERY, James Herbert wwI James, son of Thomas and Alice (Doyle) Avery was born in Alberton, PEI and joined in the Army with the 82nd Regiment, Militia 105th Battalion on May 17, 1916. BaKER, donald wwII Donald was born on March 21, 1924 in Selmah, Nova Scotia and enlisted with the Merchant Navy in June 1942 serving in both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
