He received the 1939-45 Star, the France/Germany Star, the Defence Medal, the 1939-1945 War Medal and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal & Clasp. adaMs, samson Elmer wwII Samson was born in Bloomfield, PEI on June 20, 1914 and joined the Army serving in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe. He received his discharge on October 18, 1945 and was awarded the 1939-45 Star, the FranceGermany Star, the Defence Medal and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. Samson passed away on September 3, 2003. aITKEN, James leslie wwII James was born in Lower Montague, PEI on March 18, 1921 and enlisted with the RCAF in July 1940 and received his discharge on September 29, 1945. aRsENaUlT, alban wwII Alban, son of Colas and Elizabeth (Gallant) Arsenault was born in Cascumpec, PEI. He joined the West Nova Scotia Regiment and served in England from 1942-1944 and received the 1939-45 Star, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal Defence Medal and the 1939-45 War Medal. aRsENaUlT, agno wwI Agno, son of Francois (Avis) and Sophie Arsenault of the Wellington area, served two-and-a-half years overseas during World War One.
