Lest We Forget / 65 WALSH, Arthur Francis WWII Arthur was born on January 4, 1912, the son of Austin and Mary (LeClair) Walsh of Stanley Bridge, PEI. He served with the Armed Forces during World War Two. After returning to PEI, Arthur worked with the Canadian National Railways. He and his fami ly l ived in Charlottetown. He passed away on Apri l 20, 1979. TOOMBS, Linwood WWII Linwood was born in Long River, PEI on October 9, 1923. He served with the Air Force on Spotted Island, Northern Labrador building radar stations and also in Gagetown, New Brunswick. After the war, he served with the mi l itary in Nova Scotia. WALLACE, Ralph Earl WWII Ralph was born in Fortune Cove, PEI. He enl isted as a Private in the Army with Unit No. 6 District Depot on January 15, 1945, serving in Canada. He received his discharge on December 6, 1946. WALSH, Louis Patrick WWII Louis was born on December 27, 1919 in Stanley Bridge, PEI, the son of Austin and Mary (LeClair) Walsh. He served in the Army with the North Nova Highlanders in World War Two and also returned home with an Engl ish war bride. He served as a road engineer with the Prince Edward Island Government. Louis passed away on October 11, 1965. WALSH, Urban Joseph WWII Urban was born in Stanley Bridge, PEI on August 25, 1914. He served in the Armed Forces during World War Two. He returned early from Europe because of wounds. He returned with his English war bride. He was a Canadian Fisheries Officer, and he and his fami ly lived in St. Andrewʼs, New Brunswick.
