She enlisted in the Army, Medical Corps as a Nursing Sister on September 7, 1943, serving in the UK, Continental Europe and the High Seas. She received her discharge on January 9, 1947. NICHOLSON, Norman D. WWII Norman joined the PEI Highlanders and served in Newfoundland, England, France, Belgium, Hol land and Germany. Norman is deceased. OʼBRIEN, Eleanor Hanora WWII Eleanor was born in Dock Road, Elmsdale, PEI. She enl isted in the Army, Medical Corps as a Nursing Sister on March 27, 1944 serving in the UK and Continental Europe. She received her discharge on August 6, 1946. OʼHANLEY, Gerald James WWII Gerald was born in St. Peterʼs Bay, PEI on July 29, 1918. He enl isted as Fl ight/Lieutenant with the R.C.A.F. in 1941. Gerald was shot down over Germany on January 27, 1943. OʼHANLEY, William Joseph WWII Wi l l iam was born in St. Peterʼs Bay, PEI on August 10, 1926.
