Lest We Forget / 35 HASHIE, Clarence J. WWII Clarence, son of Austin Hashie and Anne Gal lant, enlisted in the Army on May 15, 1942 with the 23rd Regiment 24 Anti-Aircraft. He was discharged in Hal ifax. GRAHAM, Gerald MacLure WWII Gerald was born in Murray Harbour North, PEI, on Apri l 19, 1921, youngest son of Wendel l and Jane Boyd Graham. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Naval Regiment on May 17, 1943 as an able seaman. He served on H.M.C.S. Charlottetown on the High Seas and overseas from December 23, 1943 unti l October 9, 1945. Gerald passed away on November 15, 2001. HACHY, Raymond J. WWII Raymond, son of Henr i and Mary Hachy, enl isted in the PEI Highlanders early in September 1939. He served with the West Nova Scotia Regiment in Newfoundland, England, Italy, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. He was discharged on August 24, 1945. JENKINS, Wallace WWII Wal lace was born in Mi l ltown Cross, PEI in 1920. He served with the PEI Light Horse 6th Royal Hussars. Wal lace is deceased. JOHNSTON, Roy Harry WWII Roy was born in Elmsdale, PEI. He enl isted with the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Fl ight Lieutenant on October 9, 1940, serving overseas.
