Lest We Forget / 65 STEWART, Arthur Currie “Ted” WWII & Korean War Ted was born on October 7, 1918 in Glen William, Kings County, PEI. He joined the Army in 1940 with the PEI Lighthorse Division, and transferred to the R.C.N. when the war broke out. He served on the High Seas and in Canada. He later joined the Air Force from 1950-1959. Arthur passed away on February 12, 2006. STEWART, Frederick B. WWII Killed in Action Frederick was born on December 13, 1922 in Beach Point, PEI. He served with the West Nova Scotia Regiment. Frederick was killed in action on October 22, 1943 and is buried in Agira Cemetery in Sicily, Italy. STEWART, George Daniel WWII George was born on February 9, 1911 in Kilmur, PEI. He served with the 6 th Field Regiment, Royal Canadian Army in Europe from 1941-1945. George passed away on August 25, 1961. STEWART, Harry Linden WWII & Korean War Harry was born on March 21, 1915 in Kilmur, PEI. He served from 1940-1951 with the Special Forces, PEI Highlanders, Royal Canadian Artillery, and the Canadian Armoured Brigade. Harry passed away on February 26, 1973. STEWART, Samuel WWII Samuel was born on February 11, 1910 in Glen William, Kings County, PEI. He joined the Royal Canadian Medical Corps and served in Scotland, France and Germany from 1940-1945.
