Lest We Forget / 63 STEWART (ALCHORN), Aletha WWII Aletha was born on January 28, 1922. She served in the Canadian Dental Corps from 1939-1944. Aletha is the wife of Harry Stewart and she is currently living in Montague, PEI. STEWART, Alfred Vernon WWII Alfred was born on September 11, 1917 in Kilmur, PEI, son of Daniel and Elizabeth Stewart. He served with the PEI Highlanders, Military Police and the South Saskatchewan Regiment in Europe. Alfred passed away on June 25, 1988. STEWART, Clarence M. WWII Clarence was born on November 2, 1920 in Beach Point, PEI, son of George and Isabella (Penny) Stewart. He served with the RCASC during World War Two. Clarence passed away in 1973 in Ontario. STEWART, Donald Colin WWII Donald was born on December 20, 1916 in Glen William, Kings County, PEI, son of John Hamilton Stewart and Christine Nicholson. He joined the Royal Canadian Artillery in 1942. He served in France, Belgium, Germany and Holland. He saw all these countries liberated and he stayed an extra year with the Occupational Force until his discharge in 1946. Donald passed away on March 23, 2000. STYMEIST, Cecil Thomas WWII Cecil was born in Murray River, PEI, son of James MacDougall Stymeist and Christine Horton. He served as a Sgt. with the PEI Highlanders and served for 5 1/2 years as an instructor in England. The Royal Canadian Legion Prince Edward Island Command
