He enlisted in the Air Force in 1940 and was stationed at Mount Pleasant, Summerside and Vancouver, BC until 1945. Verdun married Audrey Baker on November 17, 1943, and they lived in Kensington through the years. PHILLIPS, Rev. W. J. WWII Reverend W. J. Phillips was born in England. He served the Army, 1st Canadian Corp, 5th Armoured Division as Major in North West Europe, Italy and North Africa from 1941 until his discharge on May 13, 1946. PHILLIPS, Sanford WWII Sanford enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1940 and served during World War Two. PINEAU, Ernest Korean War Ernest was born in Bloomfield, PEI. He served the Canadian Army, Special Forces, Airborn Troops as Private in Korea from 1952 to 1953. PINEAU, Joseph ‘Adrien’ WWII Adrien was born in Duvar, PEI.
