Lest We Forget / 35 MACDONALD, Angus Daniel WWII Killed in Action Angus was born in East Point, PEI. He enlisted with the R.C.A.F in 1940. He went overseas in September of 1941 and was reported missing following air action over Germany. MACDONALD, Arnold WWII & Korean War Arnold was born on February 12, 1922 in O’Leary, PEI. He joined the West Nova Scotia Highlanders in September of 1939 and served in Canada, England, Germany, Italy and Holland. He was discharged in 1945, and rejoined the Army from 1951-1961, where he was stationed in Trenton, North Bay, and Yukon. Arnold passed away on October 26, 2003. MACDONALD, Donald A. WWII Donald was born in Stanley Bridge, PEI. He served the Canadian Army from April 1942 to March 1946, with the North Nova Scotia Regiment in Canada, England, Scotland, Belgium and Germany. Donald passed away in December 1994. MACDONALD, John James WWII John enlisted with the 8th R.E.C.C.E. on December 11, 1942 and served in Canada and England until his discharge on June 4, 1944. John currently resides in North Lake, PEI. MACDONALD, Peter D. WWII Peter was born in December 1920 in North Lake, PEI. He enlisted with the Canadian Army in 1943 as a sniper and served in France, Germany, Holland and Belgium until his honorable discharge in June 1946. Peter passed away in April 2003.
