DEWAR, Gordon Albert WWII Killed in Action Gordon was born on September 1, 1922 in Roseneath, PEI. He served in the RCA, 3 LAA Regiment, and 368 LAA Battery. He was killed in action on August 8, 1944, in Falaise, Normandy. Gordon is buried in Bretteville Sur Laize, France. DOWLING, James A. WWII James was born in 1924 in Charlottetown, PEI. He served in the RCN VR from 1940 to 1945 on convoy duty. James passed away in 1982. DOYLE, Andy WWII Andy was born on December 4, 1918 in Summerville, PEI. He enlisted in the RCAF Fire Brigade in 1941 and was discharged in 1945. DOYLE, Ernest Reuben WWII Ernest was born on May 16, 1922 in Savage Harbour, PEI.
