Lest We Forget / 17 CRAWFORD, Michael Daniel WWI Killed in Action Michael was born in De Gros Marsh, he is the son of George and Mary (MacLean) Crawford. He served in the Canadian Infantry, Quebec Regiment during the war. Michael was killed in action on August 15, 1918, and is buried at the Vimy Memorial Cemetery in France. CROZIER, Jack WWII Jack was born in Baltic, PEI. He served the Canadian Army from 1939-1945 and served overseas during the war. After the war, he returned to Baltic before moving to Summerside. Jack is deceased. CROZIER, Phillip WWII Killed in Action Phillip was born in Baltic, PEI. He joined the Canadian Navy at the start of the war. Phillip was killed in action. DALZELL, William Gordon WWII William was born on May 1, 1918, in New Annan, PEI, eldest son of Edison and Florence Dalzell. He enlisted with the PEI Highlanders in 1939 and served in Halifax, NS, Wainwright, Alberta, and Bottwood, NL. He was posted overseas in November 1943 with the Cape Breton Highlanders and served in England, France, Holland and Germany until his discharge in December 1945. William passed away on February 11, 1972. DARRACH, John Duncan WWII John was born in Borden, PEI in 1921. He served the Royal Canadian Navy from March 1939 to December 1945 in the Atlantic, Pacific, Mediterranean area and the Indian Ocean. The Royal Canadian Legion Prince Edward Island Command
