He served with the Canadian Army in the First World War. He was killed while serving overseas. MYERS, William Warren WWI William was born in Mount Albion, PEI in 1889. Warren enlisted in the army in 1912. He served with the First Canadian Expeditionary Force Infantry from August 1914 to May 1919, and was a sergeant with the 4th Battalion CEF, serving in France for four years. She served with the 43rd Coy Canadian Women’s Air Corp in England and Nova Scotia. (W15212) PETERS, Frederick Thornton WWI Killed in Action Frederick was born in Charlottetown, PEI in 1889, son of the Attorney General and first Liberal Premier of that province. He served as a Captain in the Royal Canadian Navy. Following the action that won him the Victoria Cross, he was killed in action when proceeding to England when the plane he was in crashed in 1943.
