He served with the Royal Canadian Navy as an Able Seaman until he was discharged in 1946. Melvin is deceased. (V71835) MACLEAN, Rena WWII Rena MacLean was born in Souris, PEI. She was a nursing sister during the Second World War and was drowned when her ship, Landover Castle, was torpedoed and went down while taking wounded soldiers back from the war. MACLENNAN, Chester WWII Chester was born in Victoria West, PEI in 1919. He served with the North Nova Scotia Highlanders from 1941-45. Chester passed away in 2004. (F88970) MACLEOD, Charles Wendall WWII Charles was born in Upper Montague, PEI in 1915. He served with the Canadian Army in Italy, France and Germany from 1942-45. Charles has passed away. (F3628) MACLEOD, Milton J. WWI Milton was born in Victoria Cross, PEI in 1898. He served in the Canadian Army with the 105th PEI Highlanders & 26th New Brunswick Regiment from 1916-18.
