It was agreed to apply to the Charlottetown Branch for a charter and Pat Byrne was appointed to apply for the Charter. The charter was obtained effective 04 February 1932 and the first branch meeting was held on the first Tuesday in February 1932. A good number of members attended and the following members signed the charter: Pat Byrne, Dan MacPherson, Dan Ross, Jack MacDougall, George Davies, Sam Donovan, David Bishop, Angus Murchison, Jack MacLean, James Bears, George Docherty, Roberts West, Alex MacKenzie & Aubrey MacLellan. The first Armistice Service was held at the Cenotaph at Belfast Church on 11 November 1932 and has continued there ever since.
