Lest We Forget / 13 The main sources of income include: registration fee for Annual Convention; annual lottery; and occasional special projects. On the other hand, the main expenditures in a year include: Convention expenses; general administrative expenses; donation to PEI Provincial Command for uniforms for the Track and Field Team; and donations to Island Hospitals. From a sport’s perspective, the only Provincial-level sport which the Ladies Auxiliaries participate in is Cribbage. Throughout the fall-winter months, the individual Auxiliaries compete within their own Branches / Zones with the winners from the Zone levels advancing to the Provincial Tournament which is traditionally held in early April. As years passed, a 3rd Vice President, Chairperson and Vice Chairperson were added to the Executive. Of course, the Immediate Past Provincial President automatically remained a member of the Executive. The Provincial Ladies Auxiliary hold two Executive Committee Meetings, two Executive Council Meetings and one Convention annually. Until recent years, there were a total of 19 Auxiliaries; 18 across Prince Edward Island with one Auxiliary located on the Magdalen Islands. As of recently, there are a total of 16 Auxiliaries. The membership consists of: Life Members - 111; Regular Members - 338; Affiliate Members - 2; totalling 451.
