355 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND TRIPP, Vince Harry Vince was born in NorthYork on March 13, 1971. He enlisted on March 14, 1990 and served with the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and with the Royal Canadian Army Peacekeepers in Afghanistan, Somalia, Bosnia, Kosovo and Canada. He was discharged on October 8, 2012 after serving over 22 years. After retiring as Sgt. Tripp, V.H., he worked as a vehicle tech and as a reporter for the Canadian Army News. He attended Durham College after retiring and is presently a fire prevention inspector in Richmond Hill. He is a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 419. Vince is married with two daughters, Alexandra and Victoria. TYKOLIZ, Adam J. Adam was born in Ethelbert, Manitoba on January 6, 1922. He enlisted in the Army in 1942 and served in England, Africa, Italy, Belgium and Holland. He was discharged in March 1945. Adam was awarded the 1939-1945 Star, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, the Italy Star, the France and Germany Star and the M.R.M.A. He was a member of Port Colborne Branch 56 of The Royal Canadian Legion for 69 years before he passed away on July 17, 1991. TUCK, Murray Benjamin Murray was born in Oakville, Ontario on March 20, 1940. He enlisted in the Army (Regular Force) in 1957 and served as a Peace Reserve and Cadet Instructor with the Lorne Scotts. He was discharged in 1961. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Oakville Branch and Waterford Branch for a total of 22 years. Since 2009, Murray had been residing in Waterford, Ontario.
