It is more than thinking about those who have served our country in the past and who are currently serving Canada. It is about understanding their service and passion for keeping us safe.We live in a society that dedicates one day in the year to members of the Canadian Forces. It is unfortunate that we forget them the other 364 days. Remembering is more than wearing a poppy, it is about understanding the significance of the poppy and the people who it represents. Remember those who have dedicated their lives for our safety and the safety of this beautiful country. We should always keep the members of the Canadian Forces in our hearts and continue to do our part by supporting them. We are all citizens of Canada and that should unite us. Members of the Canadian Forces have shown us what it truly means to be patriotic towards our country. They are proud to serve Canada and the citizens that live here. No matter what happens, they are always ready to stand tall and proudly come together during tough times. Canada will always come first for these exceptional people, and they are ready to risk their safety for the greater good of Canada. That shows exceptional patriotism. Not everyone could do that. We should take time to reflect on their service and their actions that allow us to live the way we do in Canada. Their patriotism is beautiful and shows us how much they truly love their country. Remembrance Day is a solemn day in Canada, as we mourn the loss of the members of the Canadian Forces who gave up their lives to protect Canada. They passed away serving Canada and protecting Canadian soil. We should be proud of the exceptional people who dedicate their lives to protecting us. We should be honoured to have been under the protection of the incredible members of the Canadian Forces. They felt the necessity to protect us and were ready to give up their lives for Canada. We must always remember the sacrifices made for Canada. We must also remember those who have lost a loved one in the Canadian Forces. They have sacrificed their loved one for the safety of our country. Fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, and many more have been lost, but we should be there to support our fellow Canadians through this time of remembrance. These families have shown their patriotism through their continuous support. It shows us that there is something larger about being part of a family related to the Canadian Forces. Thank you, Royal Canadian Legion. Many generations have learned more about the work of our Canadian Forces and their impacts in our communities. Thank you for continuing to teach us the stories and lessons of the past and present. Your work has not gone unnoticed. Without the Royal Canadian Legion, many Canadians would not appreciate the true meaning of Remembrance Day. As Canadian citizens, we must always remember that we are united. We do everything together. During this month of remembrance, let us come together and remember those who have served our country with great pride. Let us wear our poppies with gratitude and patriotism. We are all Canadians and lest we forget those who have passed while serving this beautiful country.
