285 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND MOORE, Collin Joseph Collin was born in Quebec on November 16, 1896. He enlisted in the Army (Regular Force in 1916 and served in Passchendaele. Collin returned from the war to reside in Sarnia, Ontario and soon after he relocated to Windsor. He was employed at Walker Products until the time of his death on July 12, 1945. MOXON, Stanley Vern Stanley was born on March 26, 1922 in St. Thomas, Ontario. He enrolled with the Navy on August 20, 1942 and was on active duty until August 20, 1945. He served as a signalman on the corvette HMCS Rimouski escorting convoys during the Battle of the Atlantic. After the war, he became a barber and later employed by the City of Windsor in the Public Works. He was married with one daughter, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Stanley was a resident of Windsor from 1927 until his passing on July 14, 2011. MOORE, Diane Louise Diane was born in Windsor, Ontario on November 14, 1941. She enlisted in the Air Force (Regular Force) in 1958 and served as a teletype operator in Bagotville and Trenton. After leaving the Air Force, Diane was employed for many years at the Hamilton Spectator. She eventually returned to her hometown of Windsor and after a long illness, passed away on December 8, 2012.
