387 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND MOGGY, Raymond Edward Comfort Raymond was born in Parry Sound, Ontario on December 25, 1978. He enlisted in the Air Force on July 19, 2002 and is currently serving with the Canadian Forces posted in Moore, Oklahoma at the Tinker Air Force Base. His occupation is ATIS Tech and works in conjunction with NORAD. He is a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 503 in Onaping Falls. MOLLARD, Merrill Hilton Merrill was born on January 7, 1889 in McGillivray Township, Parkhill, Ontario, the son of Joseph and Jan Mollard. He was a school teacher when he enlisted in the Army on December 30, 1915. His unit, the 135th Battalion, sailed in August 1916 on the SS Olympic. Merrill was transferred to the 125th Battalion serving in France in October 1916. He also served in Canada and England. Merrill was in hospital three times for French Fever, Tonsilitis and accidently injured with a fractured fibula. Merrill served again in France in April 1918. He was discharged in March 1919. Merrill returned home, married, and moved to Saskatchewan passing away on July 13, 1958. He is buried in the Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery in Saskatchewan. MOLLARD, Everett Thornton Everett was born on August 5, 1887, in McGillivray Township, Parkhill, Ontario. He was the son of Joseph and Jane Mollard. Everett was a farmer when he enlisted in the Army in Parkhill, Ontario a week after his brother Merrill enlisted on January 7, 1916. He joined the 135th Battalion 4th Bn Canadian Infantry. Everett and his brother sailed on the same ship SS Olympic in August 1916. He was transferred to the 125th Battalion. He was in hospital in October 1917 and served in France in October 1918. He was discharged in April 1919. He received the Good Conduct Medal. Everett returned to farming and passed away on July 18, 1970. He is buried at Parkhill Cemetery.
