305 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND McFERRAN (HUMPHRIES), Eunice Gertrude Eunice was born in Thedford, Ontario on October 5, 1925. She joined the Army, stationed at Wolseley Barracks in London, Ontario. She worked in the Tire Shop, as well as various clerical duties. Eunice was going to be shipped to England, but the war had ended. She married John McFerran, who she had met at Wolseley Barracks. They raised a family of three children. Eunice lived in the Thedford area, then in Manitoba, and returned to Ontario where she passed away on August 2, 2016. McINTYRE, Ronald Ralph Ronald was born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan on September 8, 1924. He served with the South Saskatchewan Regiment and was stationed in France, Belgium, England and Holland during World War II. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Toronto Branch 643. McINTOSH, Joyce Eileen Joyce was born in Kent, England on November 12, 1918. She began her military career in the Canadian Women’s Army Corps in 1942, serving until 1946, when she was honourably discharged. She served in Ste Anne de Bellevue, Montreal, Quebec during World War II and was awarded the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and War Medal 1939-1945. Corporal Joyce McIntosh, a resident of Brampton, has been a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 15 since 1977. Until recently, she has been an active member of The Royal Canadian Legion and has had several positions in the past on the Executive Committee of Brampton Branch 15.
