507 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND WIGGINS, Thomas Patrick Thomas was born in Toronto, Ontario on July 9, 1954. He enlisted in the Navy on April 28, 1971. He served in Halifax, NS and Victoria, BC, HMCS York. He serves as Boatswain-Diver-Marine Engineer. He served with CORR from 1973 to 1974, later with the CIC and now with the CIL. He has 37 and half years of service. He married on Parade Square at HMCS York in April 1977. WIGHT, Roland Milton Roland was born on February 2, 1897 in Warwick Township, Lambton County, Ontario. He was living in Bosanquet Township when he enlisted in the Army on June 14, 1918. He was given a leave of absence to help with the harvest on his father’s farm. He was discharged on January 28, 1919 in London, Ontario. Roland married Verna Harrison and raised a family. He farmed until his death in 1979. WIGGINS, Walter Hill Walter was born inWinnipeg, Manitoba on January 11, 1919. He enlisted in the Army in 1939 and served with the Fort Gary Horse Regiment in Canada at CFB Borden in Supply and also at Red Rock Prison Camp. After his discharge in 1945 he went into the insurance business. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch in Wyoming for over twenty years. Walter passed away on August 26, 2004.
