397 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND RANDALL, Ennis Patrick “Randy” Randy was born in Trenton, Ontario on May 28, 1960. He enlisted in the Army on February 14, 1979 and served 28 years in the Canadian Forces, six years as an Artilleryman with the Airborne Battery “E” (Para) followed by 22 years as a Military Policeman in general policing duties and as an investigator with the Canadian Forces National Investigations Unit. He served in three Operational Tours in Cyprus, Haiti and Bosnia. He was appointed to the Order of Military Merit in 2004. Randy was discharged in 2003. REDKNAP, Donovan “Reg” Reg was born on January 6, 1931 in Windsor, Ontario. He enlisted in the Army in June 1951 and was commissioned as a 2nd Lt. in the artillery in 1952. He served in Korea for fourteen months starting in early 1953. After completing a six month target acquisition course he served with 4 RCHA from 1956 to 1960, exchange officer with the British Army 1 RHA in Germany from 1960 to 1962, safety officer in Fort Churchill from 1962 to 1964, Canadian Army Staff College from 1965 to 1966, Senior Instructor Target Acquisition RCSA from 1966 to 1968, Cyprus from 1968 to 1969, Directorate of Intelligence from 1969 to 1974, UN Military Observer in Kashmir from 1974 to 1975 and returned to Directorate of Military Intelligence until his retirement in 1980. Reg has been a volunteer at the Canadian War Museum since 1998. He is a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 638 Kanata. RAVEN, Donald “Don” Don was born on April 5, 1928 in Dunnville, Ontario. He enlisted in the Navy on July 29, 1946. He served in HMCS Charlottetown, Antigonish, Crusader, Athabaskan and Saguenay. During the Korean conflict he completed a one-year deployment in the destroyer HMCS Crusader. He was commissioned in 1960 and his shore postings included, Cornwallis, Halifax, Esquimalt, Oakland California and NDHQ. He was discharged on July 15, 1980. Don retired as a Lieutenant Commander in 1980 after 34 years of service. He was awarded the Canadian Forces Decoration with two Bars, the QEII Coronation Medal, Canadian and UN Korea Medals and the Canadian Peacekeeping Service Medal. Donald has been a Royal Canadian Legion member of Kanata Branch 638 for 22 years.
