He enlisted in the Navy in 1941 and served with the COTC, RCNVR(g), RCAMC, Toronto Scottish Regiment on the North Atlantic, in North Africa and the Mediterranean. His service during World War II was Gunnery, Grade II Staff Sergeant. PRESTON, Harry Harry was born in Ottawa, Ontario on April 28, 1922. He enlisted in the Army on September 4, 1940. He served with the 3rd Light Anti-Aircraft RCA on a 40mm Bofors Gun during World War II in the Northwest Europe Campaign. He was discharged in March 1946. Harry was a 64-year member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 57 in Silverthorn. PRESCOTT, Mary Mary was born in Hamilton, Ontario on March 11, 1926. She enlisted in the Army on March 11, 1942. She served as a Dancer/Entertainer with the Canadian Army Show for Allied Troops in England, Belgium, Holland and Germany during World War II. She was discharged in April 1945. Mary is a four-year member of The Royal Canadian Legion Fort York Branch 165 in Toronto.
